Okay, so this isn't actually an activity center. It's our living room's coffee table made-over for our 3 and 5 year olds' creative imaginations.
I have quart size jars filled with all sorts of things for our kids to explore after nap time.
Some examples:
- straws
- craft sticks
- Cuisenaire rods
- pipe cleaners
- buttons
They love it and they're always coming up with something. Today Gavin decided to shove pipe cleaners in straws. He came up with this himself. He even coordinated them by color :)
