This past weekend we spent celebrating what would have been my husband's brother's 31st birthday. Every year we celebrate Troy's birthday with Adam's family in his rememberance, and it has made for very special memories. On his birthday we let off balloons and share cake together. This year we went sledding with our niece Mikayla (Troy's daughter). I'm really grateful for this time, and for Adam to share with our kids who their Uncle was and why he was so special to our family. This weekend opened up conversation, especially with Gavin, about heaven and how Uncle Troy is with Jesus. He thinks its just "so cool" that Uncle Troy knows Jesus too!
