God's Palette Children's Books

The kids received these colorful board books as a Christmas gift from my stepmother last year, and they love them! God's Palette books introduce little ones to all of sorts of animals God created according to their color. The kids are amazed at how creative God is and even let out a couple laughs at our Creator's sense of humor (Gavin giggled at the chubby tree frog in the Green book)

The books are easy reads and have short, but very interesting facts that make them enjoyable for all of us to read!

"The wings of a leaf-mimic katydid are shaped like a leaf that's green. God knows animals will pass it by, and leave it alone, unseen." - Leaf-Mimic Katydid from the Green book

"The imperial Amazon parrot is a very rare sight indeed. It lives high up in the rain forest, feeding on fruit and seeds." - Imperial Amazon Parrot from the Purple book

"A graceful yellow seahorse sifts food through its slender snout. God gave it gills for breathing and fins to flutter about." - Pacific Seahorse from the Yellow book

"So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. " - Genesis 1:21

"Imagine God's creativity. Of all we don't know about creation, there is one thing we do know - he did it with a smile. He must've had a blast. Painting the stripes on the zebra, hanging stars in the sky, putting the gold in the sunset. What creativity! Stretching the neck of the giraffe, putting the flutter in the mockingbird's wings, planting the giggle in the hyena. What a time he had. Like a whistling carpenter in his workshop, he loved every bit of it." - Max Lucado
