Fun Eco Crafts with Kids

A lovely friend of mine gave me a huge stack of Family Fun magazines a couple months ago.  I couldn't believe I'd never heard of this awesome magazine before! They are loaded with tons recipes, fun games for kids, science experiments, and lots of green craft ideas! I thought it'd be fun to share a couple of the recycled crafts we made since we just had Earth Day last week :)

Park and Play Garage
Clearly a huge hit with Gavin - he played with this for hours today.
The materials used: toilet paper rolls, yellow construction paper, shoe box or cereal box, and tacky glue.

Milk Carton Wallet
We made this months ago and Gavin still uses it to play "store" and even brings it with him when we go grocery shopping!
The materials used: milk carton with cap, milk carton wallet template

Noah's Ark
This is one of green crafts we made up on our own. When the kids first heard the story about Noah's Ark we did all sorts of fun crafts and games along with it. One thing we did was reenact Noah's Ark on our couch with all of the kids' stuffed animals. We also made this fun Noah's Ark craft.
The materials used: milk carton, egg carton, popsicle sticks, construction paper and animal print outs
