Gavin & Haley's thank you book & dinner for Daddy

Yesterday the kids made a thank-you book for their Daddy with their sweet little hand-print turkeys, and the many thanks to their Daddy.

I loved watching and listening to them think of the things they wanted to thank their Daddy for - so sweet! Gavin couldn't wait even a minute after Daddy came home from work. He had to give him his gift!

The kids also helped me prepare a Pre-Thanksgiving meal for Daddy last night :) We had chicken pot pie, mashed potatoes and homemade cranberry sauce :)

We originally planned to make dessert last night, but Daddy told us that he had today off so the kiddos and I made some brownies today which he loves! :) 

It was such a relaxing day at home. The kids played outside in the snow of course - well, Haley was spending most of the time eating the snow! The kids watched a couple episodes of Milo and Otis when they were inside and Daddy and I watched the entire Disney Lion King movie on You Tube LOL! Gavin and Haley kept on hollering from the living room "Mama! Daddy! Can you PLEASE turn down your movie?!" We're still kids at heart! 


Well, I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving! We are headed to my parents tomorrow; I'm making pumpkin pie! May the Lord bless you and your families! There is so much to be thankful for!
