Fun in the brook

We are settling into our new home and have accomplished a lot around here in a short amount of time. There is still lots to do, but we've been taking the time to simply enjoy what God has blessed us with!

Adam and I took a walk last week and found this beautiful spot in the woods where a brook flows through. I just knew the kids would love it, so we walked down to it the next day and have been everyday since. They love it and we literally spend hours there - swimming, skipping rocks, building stick forts - just having a blast!

I promised the kids we could pack a picnic lunch when we go tomorrow, so I'm hoping for a sunny day. Hope everyone is having a blessed week!
